I know your not picking on me. I just don't buy into that kind of thinking. Just a bit too radical for me. I'm not in favor of gays, just don't think they're causing the droughts.

Nobody said "they" caused the droughts,fires,floods...but I do beleive the Lord is trying to get our attention to repent and turn away from these sinful lifestyles, and disobedience to Him.

I guess I look at the big picture, and what we are suposed to be striving for in our lives.

Look at 911..when we got blind sided that day, America went to church the next few weeks like we were back in the '50's Sad to say, that did not last only a few weeks..I think that too was a warning shot to America..but what didwe do as a Nation?? We put the enemy right into the White House..yes a Muslim...we did not learn anything from 911 did we?

I dont totally disagree with you but I dont think any pain let slip through will be drought. It is a cycle. Even though its been rough we havent broken all that many records.

I am God fearing and worry about the direction of our nation. In that I have to take the bible for its word too. If we can find one believer in Sodom and Gomorrah.... Granted we are headed over a steep clif but we are still the bible belt.

I drove through the area SE of Norman this past weekend, and buddy, that was one hot fire. We saw a house that was not relatively close to the flames that had the vinyl siding melt. That fire as well as alot of others have pretty much killed all the trees in their paths, and just reduced homes to rubble. Hopefully this cooler weather brings in much needed rain
