Broadheads

I think it was the arrows. I bought Muzzys and put one on the arrow i use to sight in with and it was on target. Im not as serious into bowhunting yet to start messing with arrows.

don't need to be... if buy your arrows from an archery shop, ask them if they do anything to square up the inserts with the shafts, like using a G5 squaring tool. a good shop will. it takes very little time and effort to do and your arrows spin true.

sometimes it helps to take a sharpie marker and number a fletch on each arrow. practice and when hunting season comes around you'll have a good idea of what arrows to put your same new broadheads on. just don't worry about figuring out which one flys well or not after a couple groups. you'll figure it out with some time.

I have 1 arrow that I have sighted my bow in with and i know that it hits where I want it to. I got new Muzzy MX3s and put it on that arrow to hunt with. This is my first time hunting with a bow, so if I even get 1 shot I will be happy. I am probably just going to have that 1 arrow with me, but like I said if I even get a shot i will be happy.

Like db said, please carry more than 1 arrow.

No disrespect but you should be shooting more if you can only get 1 arrow to hit where you want, you should be able to group your broadheads similar to that of your field tips, you've got to be doing something wrong if you're only able to get 1 arrow to hit your mark.

As people constantly say on here, practice, practice, practice.. you can only get better.

Broadheads

I used to use muzzy 4 blades and would shoot them all at least once to ensure they were all good. Even if you sharpen them I would still shoot them again, you change the surface of the blade just a hair and it causes a change in the performance. I now use a rage 3 blade and sight in with the practice heads and found that my hunting broad heads fly true.

Db hunter: I am an avid archery shooter and a rifle shooter and keep a ton of log books. Every arrow I own is numbered and I take a ton of notes on each arrow, i.e. How each arrow flys from different angles at varying yardage, I even shoot them in rain, extreme cold, etc. You would be amazed at the differences just in temperature differences.
