redkneck
I used tracers a couple years ago, I like the activation, works flawlessly. Be sure you deactivate them per instructions. They do and that's baloney. The magnet is the size of an aspirin, most broadheads are made of aluminum and stainless steal, neither of which are affected by magnets. ChrisSeb53
nockturnal nocks are the best i have tried... work flawlessly.. i shot a doe with an arrow nocked with a nockturnal nock.. it was last light... i went to where i found blood and marked the spot with my arrow... returned around 8 the next morning and the nock was still lit and bright as can be.. plus they weigh less than other lighted nocks
535hunter
Just what I heard. I've looked into lighted nocks and I was leaning toward nockturnals.what color works best?
hoosierhunter
Lighted flashing nocks? Try firenocks

redkneck
I may have one lumenock left. Have to remember you can not enter the deer in p&y of you use a lighted nock
Maine Hntr
I have heard the whole thing about not being able to enter the deer in P&Y if using lighted nocks, but why do I see a lot of the pros using them? Maybe they're just not entering them P&Y?
hoosierhunter
Lighted flashing nocks? Poor eye sight and they probably got them for free.

Maine Hntr
I understand they get paid to endorse the products but are they not allowed to enter their deer into P&Y or are they given a free pass?
Flintlock1776
I am trying Firenocks this year. I hope they do better than the other brands I have tried

I suppose they can if they like just like I can lie and enter one illegally I shot with a rifle. I don't think most at that level are concerned with p&y. Rhino
I understand they get paid to endorse the products but are they not allowed to enter their deer into P&Y or are they given a free pass? I suppose they can if they like just like I can lie and enter one illegally I shot with a rifle. I don't think most at that level are concerned with p&y. P&Y is a club with limited members and a lot of associate members that don't have any voting rights. I know at least one trad hunter that's a full member and nobody gets a free pass. The fair chase affidavit you fill out for P&Y is very detailed & twice as long as B&C's. It's very very doubtful any pro would bother going through the process to falsify the affidavit to enter a P&Y class buck that was shown killed on TV or a video if it didn't comply with all of P&Y's fair chase standards. Those guys & gals are very protective of their reputations when they get to that level too so there's really no reward for the risk...so again why bother. Also, they are more concerned with B&C anyway and B&C's fair chase standards are different from P&Y.
