Scbasshunter Posted August 24, 2012 Report Share Posted August 24, 2012 I'll be back in the stand next weekend. Hopefully I'll avenge not finding the first deer I shot with a bow last weekend. My practice routine is to shoot 2 or 3 shots per pin. If still on (no reason it shouldn't be) I'm done shooting for a couple days. What's the temp up there? Just checked the weather. When I get into the stand Saturday morning it should be 44 degrees and the high will be 76. I'm all ready to go. Got the bow shooting good, arrows fletched and broadheads tuned. Clothes go in the washer this weekend. Boots have been sitting outside for the past week. Cooler is already in the bed of the truck. The Bug House Posted August 24, 2012 Report Share Posted August 24, 2012 Bow only opens on 10/6 here, but since I don't bowhunt I have to wait until Nov. 10th for rifle season to open. Despite daytime temps into the 80's, it's dropped well into the 40's the past several nights. Love this time of year!
