I would love to join but i probably wont kill a deer this year. So there is no point.

Don't sell yourself short, if you want to participate then sign up, as long as you commit to trying your team will be proud to have you. I tried last year and mustered nothing more than a doe, but had fun anyway.

John's right...it's all about just putting forth the effort to try to get one or more, having fun, and getting to know more about some forum members. BTW...think positive too...as the old saying goes...it can happen any time!

The deer contest is a great way to engage is conversation with other fellow members. The more you converse in your team thread, the more fun it is.

Exactly!!!

I think we had about eight teams of 11 members each, hope we get good participation again this year.

I know we usually had 10members/team in the past John. Not sure about last year though.

You have 36. You only see it when your on the full sight. Plenty of time to make a few posts and hit the mark if you want to get in.

Jump into a few threads and tell us a little about yourself a and you'll quickly be there.

The post requirement is intended to keep some "one-post-wonders" from joining but never participating.
