modifactions to an 870

I wanna change the safetie on it and put it on top like the brownings are..I'm thinking on scoping it but not 100% sure yet gonna try hunting with just iron sites for a few years and see how I like it or do....I do have a fully rifled barrel for it.....I have 2 guns the 870 and a browning invector bps..I'm gonna work on making my 870 a deer only shotgun...

Wow! I'd think a change to the safety such as this would be more expensive than a new gun. I'd sell the 870 if I didn't like it and buy what I wanted. I have several Remington's and have never had a problem with where the safety was located. Mossberg has a top safety, are very reliable and accurate guns and are priced right along with the 870.

I agree...To change the safety like that would be expensive, if not impossible...
