fly
This is one of the coolest trail cam pics I've seen in a while. It's my buddies place and I generally only hunt it a few times as the area is only 20 acres and a lot of pressure causes the deer to hit the road. Anyway, I was asked what he'd gross - I thought 160 at first, but his 3's are so long I'm wondering if I am undershooting him. What say ye? Dawg
Not sure on the score but for sure would fling an arrow at him.......or even a bullet.
wtnhunt
That is a nice one for sure Frank, but to be honest I don't think he will quite make 160. Unless I am missing something he is a main frame 8, I see low 150's tops.
Rhino
Frank...I have to agree with William...I don't think he'll quite make 160 either but he's real close if he doesn't. He's one heck of a buck for a main frame 4x4. SHOOTER for sure!
whitetailfreak55
Real nice Buck. Definite shooter there I have to agree with a 150 class deer but a shooter no matter what
hoosierhunter
Left G1-4.5, G2-10, G3-10, 16 inch mass. 24 inch beam(generous) Right g1-4.5, G2-10, G3-10 16 inch mass. 24 inch beam. 2 inch kicker 17 inside 64.5+66.5+17=147 inches
Ethan Givan
Left G1-4.5, G2-10, G3-10, 16 inch mass. 24 inch beam(generous) Right g1-4.5, G2-10, G3-10 16 inch mass. 24 inch beam. 2 inch kicker 17 inside 64.5+66.5+17=147 inches More along the lines to what I was thinking. I gave him 16 inside and about 22 inches on the beams and an inch or two less than you on mass. So 140 was my guess.
arrow32
Like them don't think it's 160 but dang that's a nice buck. I'd be shooting
fly
Thanks everyone, hope he gets harvested this season so we can find out. Crazy that this deer is about 400 yards from the city mall.
wtnhunt
Crazy that this deer is about 400 yards from the city mall. Maybe not so much Frank, sometimes those deer end up protected so to speak. One of the biggest deer I have ever seen was living inside the city limits here between a nursing home and a vacant factory.
hoosierhunter
Big one on a trail cam Fly I think I'm conservative on my tine estimates on that buck. Either way is love to see a kill pic of him. The other thing is I thought he might be 4.5.
abrown
A heck of a deer no matter what he scores, good luck, and like the other guys said, would like to see a morning or evening after pic!
Flintlock1776
I could not tell by the picture but is he still in velvet? May have some additional growth to go if so. Nice buck!
Ravin R10 man
Yup low '50's at best
ChrisSeb53
Either way, I'm looking at the body. He isn't slender and has a gut. Mature deer and a definite shooter IMO. I guess his head gear is okay too...:clown:
Shoobee
Ever notice how picky trophy hunters are? To a meat hunter this looks like Valhalla. No complaints.

hoosierhunter
Big one on a trail cam Only picky bc he asked what it scored. You have to define the rack bc if 160 is his personal goal, he doesn't want to shoot a deer thinking he's bigger than he really is. Regardless of his score he's a beauty. Stinger-Hunter
That is a wall mounter. Good God, man. it is only August, too. Add a few more inches to him over the next month, I would suspect. Great deer, greatG2s and G3s
