Scbasshunter
I am trying to get into bow hunting seriously because hunting with a rifle is just getting too easy (Now that I've said that, I won't get a shot off on a deer with a rifle this year. Haha!). I don't care much for turkey hunting. What are some things you guys/gals do during the off season to keep up with shooting your bow? Maybe just shoot around the yard? 3D shoots? Small game hunting with a bow (Seems like it would be a good way to waste some expensive arrows.)?
kcall
Offseason. Find as many 3d tournents as possible to shoot in! Or any kind of archery tournament as possible! And practice practice practice!
hoosierhunter
Offseason. I do not shoot much after season but I'm very comfortable with my setup. Leagues are a good way to stay in touch. The main thing is perfect

dbHunterNY
3D leagues are some of the best practice you can get. i'm in one now. otherwise just throw some targets out in the backyard and shoot with friends.
halfcam
I shoot 3d tournaments sometimes but usually just shoot around the house with friends
bowhunter97
3d shoots are great. I loved the tournement i was in. Only problem was it was traveling so one time we would have to drive south 2 hours and the next could be north 1 hour.

arrow32
I don't shoot a whole lot in the off season anymore. Use to do shoots and stuff but now I don't. Once you get a good form I can pick up my bow and hve not shot for month and drive a tac. Like was said just start building up my arm strength shooting more a couple month before season.
