Trail camera help.

Hey guys I just bought a Wildgame 8mp camera today at Dicks Sporting Goods and cannot figure out how in the world to to get it to work. I put the memory card in and set it outside "its dark right now" to see what kind of night time picks it could take and I have to get pretty close to it before to set it off. So i stepped in front of it quite a few times and only recieved 8 pics? I figured it would have taken more then that. Like I said I'm new when it comes to trail cameras lol. And another thing what would yall recommend I set my PIR modes to? It hasPIR Mode Flextime or Both and I have it set to both. also it said P1 P2 and Interval, I have it set to Interval right now. It also says Still and Video and I have it set to still. So any help from any of yall would be greatly appreciated!

It should have come with a manual. The PIR setting is the sensitivity for it going off. High will give you more pics. I ahve a few different models - two being their micro cams - and they work fine. Fairly inexpensive and they pics are ok. Serves my purpose on the farm i hunt, and with all of the other guys that hunt i wont be out too much if they walk off. I have great pics from them.

Normally there is a delay. My camera is set to a 3 shot burst with a 1 minute delay. And some people think that is for when you turn it on so you can get away without being seen but in my pics with deer infront of it it will take 3 pictures then the next minute have 3 more so forth and so on. I dont know id that is justmy camer or what. So that could have been it.

Thanks for the pics and info fellas. Those pics have excellent quality to em. Iv been tryin to find the one I got at dicks today online to see if there's anything I'm missin. The manual doesn't really make much sense to me the part abt setting it up saying its active 15mins before sunrise 1hr after sunrise 1hr after sunset to 15min after sunset?
