hoosierhunter
Grim reapers and t3's 97- ALL mechanicals need 60lbs kinetic energy not just rage. Best case your top end is 50 from why you have posted of your setup. I can't stress enough that a mechanical should be completely removed from your thought process IMO. Btw those t3's were the worst mechanicals tested recently.

A modest setup is a minimum for using these heads. We shoot them out of bows with heavy aluminum arrows and crossbows. Two of our buddies are in wheelchairs and use the crossbows with disabled permits to shoot off atvs. While there may be times they work for you, consistant, quick kills netting maximum penetration are what you want to always strive for. Fixed blades would likely provide that for you.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I haven't shot anything with either, but have tracked deer shot with both. Both performed the way the were supposed to and tracking jobs were short. Haven't had any experiences with the Grim Reapers in quite a while now though, but if they are anything like the early versions they work fine. The g5's I have only seen used a couple times on deer, again, short tracking job, and worked the way they are supposed to. I wouldn't hesitate to use either one of them. youngbuck06
Grim reapers and t3's Go with the G5 Montec fixed blades! I have shot them for years with no problems as far as penetration or blood trails! Plus fixed blades don't malfunction! Lol
