Horton said send the bow back and they will fix free of charge.... we will see how long this take and how good of a job they do. Until then I have the old reliable bow ready to go. Quality products have gone down the drain!

Hope they get it done right for you!

The plan is I'll be in a stand Thursday evening around 3 or so. About the earliest I can get there like to get in early for evening hunts. Really hoping to see some good movement. I have a new stand location I'm really wanting to try out and hope that it pays off. We will see.

After the hunt I'm meeting my dad at the damn on the way home to get some fishing in there tearin it up down there I hear.

We just had a cold front come through last evening bringing rain in the valleys and snow to the high country (snow level at ~ 4500 feet) and will be looking at temps in the upper 20's at night and mid 40's for the daytime highs over the next week or two. This should help get the deer up and moving and although I have to work the next three days I am looking forward to next week (the last week of archery season) and hopefully a little more action. The past couple of days saw very little activity, deer or elk, although Monday I did see two nice 8 point bucks hanging together and one was probably pushing 150 inches. Other than that just doe and fawn with one spike that wandered directly under my stand. Having a bad back sure limits sitting in a stand and today was spent trying to recover enough to work the next three days. With rifle season starting on the 21st I am looking forward to still hunting the surrounding mountains, but next week I'll give the bow a few more walks in the hills, with maybe a sit thrown in. Well, carry on. Good luck with the crossbow repairs!

Been to busy to hunt here to! Was going to go out tonight but wasn't able to finish mowing last nigh so have to do that. If nothing else I should be able to get out Friday and Saturday evening. Atleast that's what I'm hoping on but not holding my breathe been hoping to get out every evening this week and not been able to.

heading out this weekend for first hunt of this season. yesterday i came home and had a young doe standing in the middle of my yard. i casually made it out of my car and all the way to the door before she ran into the woods.

the buck i posted pictures of i think will have to wait until November and rutting takes place. right now the deer there still aren't moving much yet. with food sources and other factors they don't need to. tough to get in so close without messing things up.

still have a couple other "options" for bone.

No time to hunt..covering LOTS of corn ground though

lots of corn being taken off around here too. going to change where the deer are. i'll be scout corn stubble later before the weekend comes.
