We have a ton of does and fawns running around which is good to see as we had some lean years recently with the population. I only had 4 bucks on cam with there being a spike, 6, 7, and 8 pointer. None of them are overly huge but they have been running around during daylight hours so that was good to see. Deer season is open here but I'm just too busy this month to get up to my hunting land. MCH Posted September 18, 2012 Report Share Posted September 18, 2012 Put up my last buddy stand yesterday. Hoping to get my son his first deer this year. Decided not to check my cameras. Plan on leaving them out for at least two weeks without checking this time. Weather is starting to make my neck swell. High of 76 today. Overnight low this week in the 40's! I have a +140 class buck on trail cam in Kansas, so I'm drooling to get back and nail him! I haven't checked my trail cam pics in OK. It's a little later this year (rifle season opens the monday of the first full week in November) so hopefully we'll have some snow on the ground!
