Strut10 Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 Exactly what the others have said. Several of my stands are a long walk and the first 400 yards or so is a steep, uphill pull. I have walked in when it was in the single digits in just a thin base layer (much like Under Armour Heat Gear). All my other layers were in my pack. I get up in the stand and tied in and sat down. When I start getting cold, I put on the next layer until I am all dressed. Takes 1/2 or more sometimes to get everything on. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
