redkneck
I'd say anything 223 and up.
dbHunterNY
unless you're saving the hides for sale, any rifle you can handle quick and shoot accurately. anything like a 204 ruger or 223 Rem and up can anchor a coyote. best to carry a shotgun sometimes if the terrain isn't wide open. any 20ga and up shotgun setup for buckshot or turkeys will work. wtnhunt
Whatever I happen to be hunting with or whatever is handy. Killed one last year at around 180 yards with a ml'er, and one with the .270 both while deer hunting, missed one with my bow. If I am hunting for yotes I take my .223 with me. Anything legal in my hand will work if I see one! But generally take 223 when I go.
arrow32
As long as its legal I'll use it. Don't keep any hides so don't care how bad it tears them up when I do go.
