skooba
Im on the fence on this one. I don't quite know if he is a shooter or not. I have a bunch of pics of him and I know i will be seeing him this fall and im not sure if i would pull the trigger or not. Thoughts? What do you think he would score? wtnhunt
Think he is at least 2.5, probably more likely 3.5, body looks real straight to me, not tapered upward in front of the hams like you would normally see in younger deer. Nice tine length for sure, score probably just shy of 120. Here on our farm I would probably not be able to let that deer walk, if I were hunting elsewhere would depend on what else I thought was around and on how many deer I was able to take. whitetailfreak55
Good deer depending on where your at would define him as a shooter. I would pass on him here
dbHunterNY
yea whether or not he's a shooter is up to you... i don't think he's "mature" yet and think he's 2.5-3.5 yrs old. however, people around here would be gunnin' for him without a doubt. your choice given your situation and there's no wrong answer. ...i should add that i've learned to not shoot if there's any doubts at all. if there aren't and it gets your heart pumping then fire away. lol Edited September 11, 2012 by dbHunterNY
Rhino
It's your call if he's a shooter or not. I agree with the others...he's not a mature buck. Sure has good potential.
toddyboman
He has some great potential but I too would agree he looks kinda young. But when he comes cruising by tailing a doe at 15 yards the first on November......then and only then will you decide if he is a shooter or not Good luck
arrow32
Tall 8pt Really would depend on where I'm hunting. There is one farm I could let him walk on. Any other farm I hunt probly couldn't let him walk they shoot everything that's brown. Nice buck. Right area I could let him walk lotta growin left for him to do
danthehuntinman
He's a young deer shouldn't matter what everyone else thinks that all depends on you if you want to shoot or not.
