pointing_dogs_rule
OK, so I'm pretty new to this thing. I trade one loser player for another and the board says; "he must clear waivers". Not really sure what this was, however, the guy did not clear waivers and some other team picked him up. Some other team had a higher priority waiver. What determines who has a higher waiver priority?? Just trying to understand these player trades better. Thanks in advance. good luck to all the dog
MCH
Waiver priority is initially set by draft order. Basically, the team that had the first pick gets the worst waiver and the team that had the last pick in the draft gets first priority. Whenever a team uses their waiver priority to pick up a player, they are automatically demoted to the bottom of the waiver line. And every team that was behind them is then moved up one notch.
