Kevo72
Does rain and humidity increase or decrease your scent. Sounds dumb but as I was sitting in stand the humidity went up. How does this affect scent?
Shoobee
If you hang a feather on a thread at the end of your stabilizer, that will tell you which way the breeze is blowing. As long as it is a crosswind or blowing towards you, that is all I ever worry about. I don't worry about whether I am giving up more or less scent. Obviously you should shower and wear clean clothes washed in unscented detergent and rinsed in baking soda. You should wear a new clean set of clothes every morning. When you get up while camping when you cannot shower, you should sponge bathe -- - face - feet - armpits - front crotch - rear crotch - put on unscented deodorant - put on clean fresh clothes for the day. That's what I do.
RangerClay
I would say yes it does. When things get damp smell intensifies. That is one reason why a deer or dog will lick his nose, a damp nose is a better scent receptor. Like Shoobee said, wash down good and watch the wind. It probably would hurt to bring your bottle of scent killer and spray down again in the stand.
