clrj3514
Daddy pulled our cards yesterday. We got 1588 pics on one stand & 597 on the other in about a week over sweet potatoes. The 1588 included tons of does, a yearling, & a coyote. Got some bucks in the 597 though, a 3 & 4 point that are pals and a nice "maybe 8pt" that we think might have been there last year. I'd really like some thoughts on that one. 3 pt 4 pt About to spar 8 pt 2011 8 pt 2012 Only have one pic of him this year but several from last year. Give me some input on that if ya can. Rhino
I hate judging bucks from a rear view but for a NC buck he sure looks like he's mature. Hope you have a close encounter with him. For what it's worth...I think he's a 125 class buck. Can't see brow tines so I guess they are shorter than normal. I wish I had more pics of him but maybe we'll get more since it was only Wednesday that he showed up. If he's the buck from last year I think he might be 4 years old. The biggest deer I know of that's come off of our club is about a 130" 10 point so this guy definitely has my hyped up. He was there only about an hour & a half after sunset so maybe he'll show up in daylight during muzzle loader season starting the 29th, which is when our rut is usually in high gear.
