Scbasshunter
Is it ok to use arrows that are 1inch longer than your draw length? Example: 30inch arrow with a 29inch draw.
Trevor
Just make sure that at least 1inch of the arrow is sticking out past your rest.
Leo
Just make sure that at least 1inch of the arrow is sticking out past your rest. Ditto on the at least 1 inch past the rest at full draw. Strings stretch, hard stops on cams get loose and move... An arrow that's almost too short is extremely dangerous. If you draw it off the rest, the point will go right into your grip hand with no safe way to let down. You can shoot arrows that are much longer safely as long as they are spined stiffly enough to handle to load. The longer the arrow the stiffer it needs to be. I agree from experience granted it was my old starter bow that was only like 20lbs but i guess the cam rotated more than it. Was suppose to and the point was in the muscle between my thumb and my index finger and i couldnt do anything luckily my brother wad there to remove the arrow so i didnt shoot through my hand. So yea never use an arrow that is almost too short. And yes 1 inch is fine. I shoot muzzy broad-heads with a 26.5 inch arrow when my draw is 25.5 and they dont hit the riser or anything so that is fine.
Rhino
Mine are ~1" longer for the same reasons stated above.
