pruts
I went out this morning to check my camera and when I got there it was missing. My first thought was obviously that it had been stolen (even though I'm the only one with permission for this bush). After a quick walk around to make sure my stand was still there and for whatever else I thought I might find. I found it on the ground taking pictures of the tree tops. Still thinking it was an attempted theft I picked it up and came home. When I checked it out closer at home I noticed the buckle looked like it had been chewed on and there are about 15 pics of this before it was dropped about 40' down the trail from where I left it.Seeing as the pics of it being moved are from midnight I doubt it was a person. Raccoon maybe?Anyone else had this happen to them?
archerjg
I've seen squirrels chew on the straps before, but never seen one moved like that. A bear maybe? Archerjg

Archerjg +1 with squirrels/rodents. Too bad you didn't get pics if the perp in action!

wtnhunt
My guess would be a raccoon got it and dragged it, they are kinda curious critters. I have one camera that the squirrels have done a number on the plastic on. Have another that has been turned off a couple times without getting any pics of whoever/whatever shut it off, which I always thought was odd. Use a cable lock on the camera and that won't be a problem anymore with them moving it for you.
