Ethan Givan
Thats a good looking blind and a good video. Im trying something new this year. Took a large plastic water tank kinda like this one and cut the top off where it was only about 6 foot tall, flipped it over, cut a door and 3 windows in it. Instant water tight, windproof blind. Gonna paint the inside black. Plenty of room for two people, its about 7 feet in diameter. Gonna put it over looking about a 200 acre cornfield and a couple small woodlots for rifle hunting. 535hunter
Not a bad idea. How much did that run you?
Ethan Givan
Not a bad idea. How much did that run you? The cost of some paint and a couple hinges for the door, and maybe the windows. Maybe $30-$40 total. The tank was free thanks to the farmer that owns the land.
dbHunterNY
i wonder how much those tanks are usually though... not something easy to get around here. around here awesome blinds are converted wagons and round bale blinds. thinking about making a round bale blind one of these days. i've got a pretty good idea of how to do it too. redkneck
I've killed a few deer out of an old waste water tank I got rid of at work (not human waste lol). Used a skill saw and some spray paint and had a decent blind for rainy days in under an hour.
