Scbasshunter
Is the Realtree energy drink still available in stores or just online now? The last time I saw one in the store was last hunting season.

Turkeygirl
None of those energy drinks are good for you at all....my 2 cents;)
Shoobee
I use lemonade mix as my energy drink. Less salt than Gatorade. Never tried Realtree's yet. Powdered lemonade is easy to get at any food store.
Flintlock1776
A few class action lawsuits have been filed, no outcome yet. I use them sparingly just for my annual big hunt where it takes two days to drive to my spot. One drink each day max. Articles have been written: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/15/health/research/15risks.html?_r=0 Long term use; excessive daily use can not be good for you IMHO. Shoobee
My hunting buddy had learned that long term use of Gatorade is not good for you either, and it gave him splitting headaches due to excess salts. I had no problems with my own lemonade power drinks.
country gal
Realtree energy drink. I can find them in my area easily. I have to limit my use of them due to caffeine sensitivity.
Scbasshunter
Are they really that bad for you? Worse than regular energy drinks or are they all that bad?

country gal
Realtree energy drink. I would imagine overuse of any of them could be due to the caffeine content. But personally, I like the Realtree ones the best.
Flintlock1776
Its all in the marketing but if you read up on stuff you can get to form your own opinion. Personally, moderation in those "energy" drinks is worthwhile. check out WebMD before you take stuff/eat stuff etc when you have a concern. Lots of diet stuff, energy drinks and the like are well covered by Web MD info.
spage90
walmart I have always found em at walmart here in ohio
Dawg
Too much of any product is a bad for you. These drinks are no different than a Red Bull or Monster. As for the Web MD site..........I wouldn't trust all the info on it. Everytime my wife had some kind of pain or headache she would go to that site. Each time she came away with a different type of cancer. So therefore, I don't trust it.
Turkeygirl
None of those energy drinks are good....And looking up medical info on the internet is not a good idea...if there is a concern, go to your Dr., don't go to the internet... Scbasshunter
It sounds to me like it's no worse than drinking a cup of coffee or 2 with sugar in it. I was born with a heart defect and have been drinking energy drinks for years now (sometimes with my Jager, but that's a different story). I have never experienced any problems while drinking energy drinks, regardless of brand. The only effect I have felt was my heart racing giving me energy, which is what these energy drinks are supposed to do. I drink a Monster Java or 2 everytime I drive the 2 hours it takes to get to where I hunt and I don't plan to stop anytime soon.
