youngbuck06
Things are starting off a little slow in my area. Lots of does and young bucks moving but not a lot of mature buck activity. Hows things in other parts of the country?

CamoGuy
Southeastern WV was a deadzone. I saw 3 does cross the road on my drive in and that was the highlight of the morning. It rained a lot Friday so Saturday morning was heavy fog and windless. Thanks to the fog I didn't even see the first rays of the sun until around 8:30AM. Nothing was moving. Didn't even see any squirrels until around 9:00. Family obligations kept me from going back out Saturday evening, so the net result on opening day for me was sitting in the foggy woods listening to water drip from the leaves. PriceRacing35
Slow Start Decent actually. Seen too many does. About 8-10little bucks. Passed one decent 8pt. Waiting for bigger. Put some new trail cameras out yesterday after work. Pulled down the old road along the fence. Found a doe that had gotten stuck trying to jump the fence. She had been there about 3-4weeks. Complete skeleton except where the coyotes couldn't reach. Ended up seeing 13 does, 7 toms, and one really nice buck right at last light. Couldn't tell exactly how big from 300yards. But I know he's mature and and shooter. Not to mention I counted 7 new rubs that I did not see on Saturday.
