ruttinbuc
Forgetting my stool Sunday had me back at the soybean field to fetch it this morning. I figured I might as well sit before the rain showed up. A young buck appeared shortly after I sat down. He was a little concerned after spotting the blob sitting in the cover against a big pine. However, not enough to keep him from feeding before the storm. In leaving I walked into a wall hanger! Maybe, I'll get a chance to shoot him another time. With the bow of course.... ruttinbuc
Thanks guys! i'll have to check this out later when i get home.... hope you see the wall hanger again Mike. Dan, I saw him two days later @ sixty yards through the thick in a morning fog. If he would not have flicked his tail I would have missed him. I thought I had his run pegged after finding substantial droppings and a couple of big prints headed up to where I walked into him. I set a fixed stand trying to cut him off. I had job interviews today and yesterday. I am going back tomorrow with my climber between where I was and that route to see if he goes that way again. ruttinbuc
Those young bucks are curious critters aren't they. They sure are, Al! He had no clue what I was. Give him a little age and he won't be so curious for sure.
too_pointer
Cool vid Mike, thanks. I couldn't really see the bucks belly, so not sure about age, but if he is only 2 1/2, he might turn into a real decent buck. Good luck with your hunting season this year. too_
