VermontHunter
You had to go and talk about bears didn't ya ... lol I've had a very eriee feeling going to my stand in the mornings, I knew this guy was around, but didn't realize just where he's been napping. I caught him exiting his hide no more than 100 yards from my favorite stand tonight .... They've already taken' 3 bears in the 300 lbs. class from this farm in the last month. Geeze I hate this NO firearm carry during archery.

Its actually a ladder stand Steve, but no difference .. come riffle season he'd better find a new home or he's a wall mount. lol Don't know if you realized it or not but this is a video, just click on the image to watch it .. I have read that 99% of the time Black Bear will avoid human confrontations...For once I don't want to be a 1%er! Make that shot count...Hope you get him! Yes, I can hunt bear there William. It's rifle or bow, but unfortunately he's not coming in bow range, and we aren't allowed to carry a firearm during archery season if we have the bow in possesion, so it's either the rifle or the bow NOT both. He hasn't bothered me as of yet thank goodness, but you know how wild animals can be, very unpredictable.
