cva rods?

Ramrod that came with this accura I figured would be an issue for anything but seating a load, which I suppose would be ok if you had to have a follow up and did not intend to run a patch between shots. Not so great to use for swabbing the barrel or cleaning though, only have about an inch of rod to get a hold of with the extension fully out and guess my fingers are just not as strong as they used to be because several times I ended up having to pull the breech plug to get the rod out. Have one of the cabelas handles for our tc ml'er and it works great, considered getting another one of them but the threads are not the same size and would not work with the cva anyway since the cva rod has the jag permanently made to the extension and it would not fit through the thimbles with the jag on.

Our wal mart store has the tc universal rod with a handle on it already for $22, cut to fit rod, however have read reviews on that rod at cabelas that say it is not the quality of the original tc rods and is flimsy and easily broken. Think I may get the tc rod anyway, anyone here have any experience with it or any other suggestions?
