535hunter
All of my family felt it. We had one down here when I worked nights. I woke up the feeling that my bed was one of those coin operated beds. Didn't pay any mind to it and fell asleep. Any damage at your place? DULUTH Mn. City is on a hill overlooking Lake Superior..not along a river bottom I don't know where you got your info, but it is utter nonsense. http://geology.rockbandit.net/2010/03/01/has-there-been-an-increase-in-earthquake-activity/ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/year/eqstats.php To summarize the findings: "So, bottom line, the Earth isn’t becoming more active, more dangerous, or even “out of control.” Despite the fear mongering and what esteemed mainstream media networks would have you believe, the simple reality is that the numbers prove things are happening at an expected rate. Keep that in mind the next time a large earthquake happens and everyone is wondering why the Earth seems so active!"

wtnhunt
Come on, everybody knows it is global warming that has everything screwed up, Al Gore said so. Glad it was not too bad, missed hearing about it on the news. Far as feeling quakes, we are close to the new madrid fault line here, have felt a few over the years but nothing bad.
Ravin R10 man
You know in Washington D.C. they have a new one..it's called...... "The Bush Fault"
Strut10
we are close to the new madrid fault line here........ I hope you're somewhere else the next time the New Madrid lets go. The dynamics of that boundary have the potential to make ANYTHING California has ever seen seem trivial.
The Bug House
North East Earthquake! Coincidently heard a local program on the radio this AM about the quake. Seems the layers of earth above the fault line here are denser and more compact, thus transferring energy more efficiently. It would take a less powerful quake in the East to cause major damage than it would in California.
