Jsmithbowtech
I'm looking to get a new Bow, not by choice. My house recently got broken into and my bow had got stolen. I've always shot Bowtech in which i had the destroyer340 and I love there bows. Tough finding a bow when I shoot a 31 inch draw length. I'm going to shoot the new Bowtech Insanity CPXL today. Although the new Matthews monster MR8 caught my eye I'm curious to see how it shoots, anyone out there shot ether bow? Also someone had suggested me shooting the Matthews z9 it's specifically made for long draw shooters like myself. What do you guys think? I'd appreciate some info an what you guys think about these bows.
WStreblo
Bow Hunting!!! New Bow Help! I've never shot either one, I'm happy with my Hoyt. I'd say you can't go wrong with a bow that draws smooth fits in you hand well and shoots fast. Whatever is the most comfortable would be my pick. Sorry about the break in... Hope you find them. dbHunterNY
i'd go with the MR8 over the Z9. the Z9 is slow. actually i'd go with the MR7 more than the MR8. you get more speed and it's still forgiving enough. also it's a little longer axle to axle length will feel a bit more stabile especially with the larger cam. it'll feel a bit different than your Destroyer though... your destroy will feel a bit lighter and the grip on that bow was pretty thin. draw is different but in the same ball park. i'd also consider the 2013 PSE Freak Max and PSE Hammer. The Freak Max is a little big if you're into more compact bows, but you'll be able to shoot it well. Both are about $250 cheaper too. the Hammer is a longer brace height version of my Evo which i a pretty nice bow. i shot it against a Hoyt Alphaburner, your old bow, the 350, and Mathews bows before i picked it. the Z7 Mag was nice too but does not go long enough for you. Sorry to hear about your break in. That's definitely got to be a horrible feeling in every way.
dbHunterNY
ohh another thing... i don't think the back wall on the Monsters when you're at full draw is as nice as the Destroyer 340 you had.

Benjinail
My neighbor just got the Z9 and seems to be very happy with it. I got the Mathews HeliM and it is light and pretty fast, really good bow in my eyes but I don't know if it fits your draw or not.
