Ethan Givan
Depends what part of the country your in. I would take Nov. 3-12 around here, and hope for cold weather.
hoosierhunter
Time Off! When to take it? I'm predicting a early rut and I would stagger my days off to be flexible. I know I'd want 0ct 28-30 and Nov 4-7 for sure and fill on the blanks as needed.

hoosierhunter
Time Off! When to take it? Nothing with the moon actually. This entire year has been ahead of schedule from temps, acorns, daylight movement, crops, etc. I think this will "fool" the does hormones slightly earlier this year. I'm certainly not betting the farm on it, but I think it could happen.
PriceRacing35
Time Off! When to take it? From what I'm seeing the full moon will come October 29th. Weather regardless, I would think a doe or two should start their estrous cycle. Even a little bit of scent from a herd doe should send bucks into overdrive. The factory I work in is avoiding bankruptcy by taking Company Shut Down periods. So I will have off this next week of the 26th and I will most likely take the next week. And very possibly get sicker than a dog the first week of November. Lol
MUDRUNNER
I would take three days off each week for the first three weeks of November. Like three days the week of the 4th, three days the week of the eleventh, and three days the week of the eighteenth. Over the years I've been hunting the best days seem to float around anywhere in that area, and this gives you a little flexibility. I can only take around 5 days off in November, and this is how I usually do it.
ilhnter
I think I'm going to take Nov. 4 - 12 off to bowhunt, then work the 13, 14 & 15. Shotgun season then opens the 16 so I will be off that weekend to shotgun hunt.
wtnhunt
Think the rut is going to be early this year as well and may be a little better than last year here. Seeing more sign than typical for this time of the year. Around here usually the third week of November the rut is just getting going.
