Anyone seeing signs of the rut?

That little buck hounding a doe last Sunday, (21st), that was in Hanover, haven't hunted since.

No road kill in the last 2 weeks. 3 deer in my field as I pulled out to go to work this morning. 1 was definitely a doe, couldn't tell on the other 2. 1 appeared to be a fawn.

Rink said he saw a few good ones chasing in Avon Lake as he was responding to calls with the hurricane.

Think I'm going to take Monday off and hit it hard Friday-Monday. Should be getting going. First week in November is always prime, and with the weather clearing up, should be in it.

Seeing as you guys giving feedback are all from Ohio I'll jump in and give some from Mass, saw a small buck chasing a doe last Saturday and like OhioBucks said she wanted nothing to do with it but I'm really looking forward to this Saturday and have Friday the 9th and Monday the 12th off so if not this Saturday one of those 2 days will hopefully work!

Saw some chasing in MO last week. Mostly younger bucks. My buddy grunted in a 158" 11 point Thursday afteroon and killed him. I didn't see any mature bucks in it yet but he saw a few. If they haven't broken loose yet they should any day now. I'm heading back to MO Wednesday.
