Scbasshunter
It's amazing how hard it is to A: pull my bow back and B: hold it steady, when I haven't picked my bow up in almost 2 weeks!
535hunter
I have seen a few "pro's" on TV not be able to there bow back in the cold. I think its funny. I have mine set to sixty and have no problem. I do pull it back in my stand to make sure my muscle aren't to tight but I don't struggle with it. Are you shooting you new bow or the old one? It does get a bit tough when you don't do it alot but that's why mine is at sixty. I can pull back seventy but in the cold idk. Just got to get back into it and you'll loosen right up. dbHunterNY
you should shoot your bow throughout the season for lots of reasons.
Tominator
Watched a show the other night where a woman was trying to pull her bow back. It was sad and comical watching her struggle to break that thing over, lol.
Scbasshunter
A week and a half!?!? It's my new bow. 60lbs.
wtnhunt
Too much weight? Serious question here, if you take a week and a half off and have troubles then is that maybe too much and need to back down?
Scbasshunter
A week and a half!?!? It's not that I couldn't pull it back, I could just tell I haven't used my shoulders any in those 2 weeks.
hoosierhunter
A week and a half!?!? Yeah I'd recommend backing it down. Your poundage should not give you any issues after being on the shelf 6 months, let alone two weeks.
Turkeygirl
Sounds like you need to back it down. I have my bow at 53 pounds, hadn't shot in a week, finally got out yesterday to shoot and no problem pulling it back....just my shot excution is what gets me sometimes. I never have any problems if it sits around for months.

Scbasshunter
A week and a half!?!? I didn't have any trouble pulling it back. I could just tell I haven't used my shoulders for 2 weeks. I did, however, have trouble holding the pin steady after not shooting for 2 weeks.
