Tominator
I've been challenged by my students to participate in No Shave November. I've agreed to not shave for the month of November if the student body and faculty can raise $100 per week. The proceeds of the fund raiser will be donated to a young lady in our school who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, AND she broke her arm in a recent auto accident...AND her dad recently lost his job. I know I tend to whine about my situation a lot, but watching Amy bravely battle on is pretty humbling.
wtnhunt
Good luck with your challenge Chris. Hope you all are able to raise a good bit of money for Amy and her family. Not shaving would not be much of a challenge for me. lol.
PotashRLS
Dude, November is always no shave for deer camp (just burlier than normal really). My wife hates it. I hope you raise all you can. God's blessings on Amy and her family.

Husabud
No Shave November... Thanks. It's been three weeks of no shave for me.
Shaun_300
Good luck with the fundraiser Chris! Hope you bring in lots of donations. It's always been a bit of a yearly ritual for me to not shave this time of year, I give it a couple week head start because it takes a bit for my beard to grow in, almost 26 and still can't grow a full beard lol. The Bug House
I grew a monster last year, went from Nov. 1st - April 1st without shaving.....it was fun....itchy but fun! Tominator
Decided to shave mine off today and it got me thinking about this post. How did the fund raising go Chris? We are at $1,300.00+ so far with 4 days to go. Here's a pic of our bearded group on the 17th.
PotashRLS
Wow, no offense but not much to shave in that picture. I am close to "trimming" mine as my wife is also complaining a quite a bit. I always have a beard but it is getting a little too bushy for her liking. And we all know that our wife's opinion is the one that matters. She even threatened to take a scissors to it when I am sleeping.
dbHunterNY
yea chris you don't look too scruffy! lol that's great hope the class keeps up the good work.
Tominator
Wow, no offense but not much to shave in that picture. Hey now... That was only 2 weeks worth. It looks decent now. It normally takes a month for it to come in totally, so tomorrow is the day, it's coming off, lol. It's driving me nuts. We raised over $1,600.00. Unfortunately, our school is experiencing quite a wave of the flu. 126 kids out yesterday, 140 out today, and since it's Friday tomorrow, I'm guessing we'll have close to 200 out. It was a lot of fun, and for a good cause, but I'll be glad when it's over.
PotashRLS
Nice fundraiser. That is a lot of kids to be out with the flu. Not good.
