Camo patterns

I just bought a Scent Lok Savana EXT shirt in Vertigo tan pattern (It was on sale for $62.). After reading up on Vertigo patterns, it says that the vertigo grey is made for stand hunters and vertigo tan is made for ground hunters. When I put the shirt on with Realtree AP pants, they both seem to blend in together in my opinion. I have always been pretty adamite (sp?) about having matching camo top and bottom. Do you guys think the Vertigo tan will make a difference vs. vertigo grey or any other pattern for that matter? Also, do you think it helps, hurts, or doesn't make a difference to have more than 1 pattern on? By the way, I hunt on a pine tree farm, so I mostly hunt pines, sometimes oaks if there is a pine tree available to climb.

lighter shades tend to help break up your outline when up in say a bare oak with no leaves and broken pieces of light sky behind you. pines tend to give lots of cover which is darker anyway... so i think if anything you're better off with tan versus grey. you can wear different articles of clothing of different patterns. if say you had on all Realtree and all of the same pattern it will look like a consistant pattern of leaves and stuff to game and not look as odd and like anything is out of place. i think you'll be fine wearing it though.
