Scbasshunter
Will my compound bow be ok sitting in my truck overnight? It will be in the low 40s. I am leaving next Monday morning to hunt after working all night Sunday night. I don't want to drive home 25 minutes to pack my truck. My bow is in a hard plastic case. redkneck
Yep, mine never comes out, neither does my rifle. Unlocked, keys in ignition lol.
Jeramie
I try not to leave them in there all the time but I do leave it in there a couple of times a year. It is probably as hard on them taking them from a hot 72 deg house to teens immediately if it is even hard on the bow at all.... I'm sure you're fine. I don’t know if I would leave it there all season but on occasion you’re gold. Yep, mine never comes out, neither does my rifle. Unlocked, keys in ignition lol. Sounds like Oklahoma... dbHunterNY
it's fine to do that.... just try to avoid leaving it in a hot car during the summer. especially avoid letting it set on or close to any heater or fan coil unit. i know i guy that did that. didn't realize they turned on the heat and his bow blew up in his case. cold doesn't seem to bother compounds much i've found. Good advice. If it can't handle cold, we probably should not be shooting in the winter. Summer heat though is a killer for anything in a vehicle, from your bow to the optics on your rifle.
