too_pointer
My hunting buddy and I went hunting the afternoon yesterday. We pulled into a spot we have been looking at, and there was a truck there. We headed up to where we planned on sitting, and ran across a hunter where I was going to set. I backed up and sat on a decent ridge. Shorty after another hunter went by, and he ran into the first hunter, yacking away so I could hear them. It got nice and quiet, than I hear some fool blowing on a grunt call LOL. Oh my, the first day !! We are planning on going out tomorrow morning, and nite if needed. Dang, its been awhile since I felt excitement. What would I give to be able to hunt on private property. !!! too_
Stinger-Hunter
That sucks. Gotta take the good hunting days with the bad, though. And there are no bad hunting days, when stuff like that happens you just gotta sit back and enjoy mother nature. Been there, sucks while its happening.. too_pointer
Went back out to the same place this morning, and had it to ourselves, but no deer sighting. Going back out very soon for the evening hunt. I know there are alot of deer in this area, just hoping one wanders by me !! Most of the hunters around me are baiting, which makes it hard on those who don't . Wish me some luck to see a nice deer tonite. too_

dbHunterNY
i see more people on private property than i do public ground. lol good luck you'll find a nice quiet spot that holds deer. keep at it. i've watched bucks skirt right around hunters walking on through, stop right under my stand, and then look toward the direction the hunter went like the dodged danger. lol
