stevebeilgard
as most know, i take out sick kids from the catch a dream foundation and hunt of a lifetime. they are always seriously ill or terminal. well, jay rogers got a nice elk about 5 years ago, which some old timers here may remember. i have the pleasure of trying to fulfill a lifetime "wish" for these kids. they are allowed a week with all the family there, to do the hunt of their dreams. it's a week in their life of smiles and good times, and a week to take their mind off of their troubles. my hope and pleasure is to fulfill their dream. arty, wthunter, just advised me jay recently succumbed to his cancer. he was a very nice, christian young man. please say a prayer for jay if you have time. of the 10 kids i've taken since 2000, jay is the 4th to pass. it always brings a tear with the smile, and a heavy heart. hoosierhunter
Dang. It happened again Tough thing to hear. It's a scary reality when you think about it. On the positive side at least 6 are continuing the fight and working towards a cure.

You have the gift of joy that you give to everyone who comes in contact with you. Those in our small circle here can certainly vouch for that. God bless you Steve! wtnhunt
You are indeed a special person Steve, and agree with Mike all the way. What you do for these people touches their lives and those around them. I never personally knew Jay, but he grew up around here, heard a lot of good things about him.
