Scbasshunter
Do you tend to see more deer during an AM hunt or a PM hunt, or about the same? What about during a full moon?
Ravin R10 man
Pm by far..am during rut tends to pick up a bit..full moon to me tends to keep deer movement to a minimum
Scbasshunter
AM vs. PM. What about mid-day during a full moon?
hoosierhunter
AM vs. PM. Late season hunting usually revolves around food and pm hunting in the Midwest.

wtnhunt
Past few years seem to be seeing more decent bucks in the afternoons. After a full moon seems like deer move better in the afternoon around our property. MUDRUNNER
I am always in the minority with this question...I see probably twice as many deer in the mornings. It could be due to the fact that we only have timber to hunt, and no row crops.
billkay
I see a majority of my deer in the PM, mostly probably because the majority of my hunting is in the PM. I'm not fond of getting up to hunt in the AM.
dbHunterNY
it's inconclusive where i see more in the AM or PM. different each sit sometimes. however, i don't sit in the same stands for both AM and PM hunting usually. i'll go to a different spot more suited for PM movement once the morning is over. i've actually had opportunities on the same deer during multiple sits during a day this way. i will say that lots of deer get killed for various reasons from 10AM-2PM once the phases of the rut kick in. sometimes it's because more hunters are in the woods coming and going, thus keeping the deer moving on their feet. other times it's simply because they're chasing each other around with it being rutting time. Scbasshunter
AM vs. PM. I'm with billkay on this one. I just don't feel like getting up that early. I get up at 4:30am for work, don't want to do it on my days off also. I just get a better feeling in the evenings as well.
Turkeygirl
I've usually had more deer sightings in the PM and that's when I've usually shot my deer but all the deer I've taken this year were all in the AM...which was nice, made for better pics, lol
Scbasshunter
AM vs. PM. Much easier to track I would imagine.
