Bowtech_archer07
It used to be cold in Illinois during deer season? Come on high of near 65 today and deer movement is zilch, zip, nada...
ilhnter
Agreed, went out today and didn't see a single deer. Heard very few shots around as well. Don't want to complain too much, the first 3 days were just about perfect and we had a great first 3 days.
Zizzer59
Who else remembers when..... Same here in Missouri. I remember having to bundle up in about 4 layers and this year I went out in a thin long sleeve and was sweating by the time I got to the stand. Ethan Givan
Most of the month of November was pretty cool here. Lows in the 20s and 30s and we only had a couple days that got out of the 50s. Not bad weather at all for our rut and gun season. Its fairly warm now, but it will cool back down Im sure. I dont think anything has changed. It was definitely colder than last year.
wtnhunt
Warm here now at least for the next few days, but we had a pretty fair November with several good mornings of frosts and temps in the afternoons only in the 50's. Deer movement here has slowed significantly too though. Did see one yesterday morning I passed on that I would like to have gotten a little better look at. Ravin R10 man
I can rmember making deer drives in -15 weather up far North Wis....and we sat in the back of an open truck too....have not had cold weather like that for 10 years or so..thats why we went to tower blinds and heaters, so we could sit all day, and be ready when the guys in ladder stands got cold and went in to warm up, they would pushed deer to us and we'd be warm and ready.. OKstate
Record highs in OK didnt help out!! No deer movement yesterday morning, but fortunately we had a few does come in late in the evening and harvested a nice one! Hope if gets cold soon, all the deer I have dealt with this year still have a lot of ticks on them!
