I had been adjusting it and finally called my uncle(who runs a gun shop). He says my scope is junk (just bought a year ago). Awesome now i get to go drop 180 bucks on a new scope. What's everybody's scopes on they're muzzleloader and favorite ones? Been going to mostly all nikon on everything here, but did put a cabelas powderhorn on the black diamond. Cabelas had them at $49 and the deal with free shipping and plenty of points to cover it was too good not to give it a try. The bushnell I had on the black diamond for years was fine until the gun got dropped on the concrete. The powderhorn scope has worked out fine so far. I had a cheap scope on it and kept knocking the crosshairs out, couldn't handle the recoil. So I bought a Bushnell XLT DOA 250 3-9x40 last year and love it. njbowhntr Posted December 16, 2012 Report Share Posted December 16, 2012 (edited) I shoot a Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35mm. I love the scope. It came off of my .30-30. Clarity is great and no problems at all in low light situations. It has no problem with the recoil either, holds zero great.
