bbarcheryhunter
Looks like pretty good stuff...I just use our shavings from our wood shop to bed our horse..I know its not the best for our garden but I get the soil tested and make sure I put plenty of lime on...I just hate to buy bedding wen I got all that shavings sitting I'm my bin:)
Turkeygirl
We buy the typicalsquare bag of shavings but our horses don't stay in stalls, they can free roam into the barn and pasture. Our shavings get used more for the ducks and chickens.
Jeramie
Not a bad idea but how are they in pricing? Seems like you could use straw or hay instead and probably save money. My horses roam free on our place. I have 6. Most of the time even though they can go in the barn they sleep in the pile of hay around the round bales we feed. After season is over I use the front end loader, pile it up, and strike a match.
