gzilla45
I don't know the exact total but I bet we've gotten 8 inches already and it is still coming down like crazy. The winds are picking up too. This storm is going to get worse before it gets better. The building I work in is right next to a major highway and I can't believe how fast people are going. Slow down and get there in one piece!!
Ravin R10 man
up north we got a few inches today..but I know you are getting hammered downstate....stay safe
PotashRLS
Yep it has been quite a day. With the wind it is hard to tell but I already blew out the driveway once and will have to do it again tonight. I guess we have 6-8 with a few more coming. We were forecasted to receive 10-14 with winds picking up to 30+ mph. The deer will be putting on the feed bags after this. I am forecasting a nice plump doe for my Hoyt before Christmas:cool:. Shaun_300
We are getting hammered with a huge storm here too, probably the same that you guys got. Forecasting 16 inches here by the time it's done. Starting tonight and all day tomorrow.
Dawg
I've never seen a white Christmas in all my 31 years of existence and odds are I won't as long as I stay in southeast Texas.
Ashley
We are in the middle of a blizzard right now. We have gotten about 8-10" thus far since this morning. It will be a white Christmas indeed!
Shaun_300
The storm has begun! It is NASTY out there, mixture of snow and ice pellets coming down really hard and probably 30mph wind gusts. I've never seen a white Christmas in all my 31 years of existence and odds are I won't as long as I stay in southeast Texas. Don't think I've ever seen a green Christmas here lol, but I've seen anywhere between an inch and 4 feet of snow for a white Christmas. Blade
We might be able to pull off another white Christmas. It has been snowing a little at a time but just goes away. On Christmas it is supposed to be 3-5 inches.
gzilla45
I ended up having to shovel yesterday at 6:15am, 2:30pm, and 5:30pm. This morning my back told me to stop being cheap and go buy a snow blower. I just may listen to it.
PotashRLS
We got about 10 or 11 inches. Blew another 3" out of the driveway before I went to bed last night. The pile at the end of the driveway left by the big plow was tough to clean up. No doubt this snow is here to stay till spring. A white Christmas is always more festive. Hope everyone enjoys Christ's Birthday.
Tominator
Looks like we will probably have one now. Got probably 4 to 5 inches today. It's blowing pretty good right now, so a lot of it will drift, but it was awful pretty today. Unfortunately, I was driving in it for a good 3 hours, which sucked. wtnhunt
Probably just gonna miss here, supposed to rain all day for Christmas day with temps falling throughout the day. Rain is supposed to change over to snow late Christmas into Wednesday.
The Bug House
We got a few inches here, turned to rain for a while. Now its frozen pretty good.
Shaun_300
The weather network says we got 44cm from the storm which is a little over 17 inches. A lot of that got blown around with the high winds though so it doesn't look like 17 inches on the ground. Still snowing a bit though! Supposed to get another 4-6 inches on the 26th/27th. Getting cold too, low of 1F tonight with a -9 windchill. Looks like about the same for the rest of the week too.
