Turkeygirl
Well I have Easton Flatlines for hunting and shooting...all the 400s I had broke while hunting on deer...and they may be a tad stuff for my 53 lb, 25" DL bow. I have a few 500s for 3D and am actually going to go to 500s for hunting as well but I think I'm going back to Bemans - looking at the ICS ProHunters... Ohiobucks
Carbon express by far!! I've shot a bunch of different brands, and have been shooting the Carbon Express arrows for the past 4 years. CE Mayhem arrows for the last 2, they are awesome arrows. redkneck
Still shooting Easton axis 400, great shafts IMO.
dbHunterNY
depends on what you're hunting and how much you want to spend. I've shot Goldtip, Easton, and Carbon Express. Heard good things about Muddy arrows too. They're all good and have an arrow that'll work good with your setup. Just have to pick the right weight and spine for your bow. For a light arrow doubling as a bowhunting and 3D arrow I'd recommend Easton Lightspeeds. For a budget hunting arrow with a good speed to weight ratio for general hunting that's super durable I'd go with a Goldtip Expedition Hunter arrows. RangerClay
I really like Carbon Express arrows. I have been using the CX Maxima Hunters for a while now and they are the best arrow I have ever shot. Well worth the extra money.
pointing_dogs_rule
The arrows that match your draw length and poundage are the best. I use carbon express. Sounds like a lame answer, however, it's like asking what bow is the best?.... the one that is the most comfortable and shoots the best for you. If you are NOT familiar then go to a pro shop. good luck to all the dog
Ravin R10 man
Goldtip Expedition Hunter 5575 works for me
abrown
Goldtip Expedition Hunter 5575 works for me Same here, get a piece of 3/4 plywood, and shoot each arrow in it, the one that survives, use them!
Straight Shooter
I shot Goldtip XT Hunters for years and had great success with them, then decideed to go with CE Maxima Hunters. I haven't looked back, it was amazing the difference between the two shafts. Now cost effectiveness the Goldtips are the way to go, but performance and accuracy I would choose the CE shafts anyday. I am very seriously thinking about the new Maxima KV's to try.
hoosierhunter
what are the best arrows? I shoot Easton fmj's. they hit harder than any carbon arrow, but they will bend.

smha6784
what are the best arrows? Carbon impact "the inventors of the carbon arrow" I shoot the hunter XLT 6000 yellows, IMO they are the most consistent with their straightness and weights, which in return means tighter groups. Squirrelhunter91
I've shot a bunch of different brands of arrows and brands. For economy, I loved the Gold Tip XT Hunter 55/75. Shot a bunch of deer with them and even used arrows more than once to kill a deer. But for the last 2 years I've been shooting Easton FMJ 400's and in my opinion you can't beat the penetration and Kinetic Energy these shafts deliver downrange. Last year I shot a doe quartering away at 27 yards. It was a hard quartering angle and I slipped the arrow in right in front of her right hip and it blew out her chest between her neck and front left shoulder. The arrow went the full length of the deer and was laying on the ground a few feet past her when I went to pick up the blood trail. I like these arrows with a sharp fixed blade head. My favorite is the G5 Striker. No complaints with that broadhead/arrow combo at all.

VermontHunter
What the best arrow is out there ... Hhmm, don't know that there is just one, and only one. I would have to say the one that you think works best with your setup. I've shot GoldTips, Carbon Express, Carbon Impacts, Eastons and Beamans, They all did what they were designed to do. At the moment I'm using the Beaman ICS Bowhunters and liking them.
