rhine16 Posted December 24, 2012 Report Share Posted December 24, 2012 After running into a bad shooting streak and missing three good ones last year, one of my main priorities for the season was for my little brother to kill a good deer. We make him hunt a lot harder than 99% of 11 year olds, often strapped into a lockon in thick hardwoods or against the base of a tree, he rarely sees the inside of a shooting house. This was one of those mornings he was stuck at a base of a tree, heard this buck cruising behind him at 60 yards, got turned and shot the deer with his elbows resting on his knees.
