Pizza...

As I chowed down on one of my favourite foods for dinner tonight I was wondering about how everyone else liked their pizza? I always order pepperoni, bacon, green olives and extra cheese. Then I drown it in Frank's red hot cayenne pepper sauce before I eat it (so much that it's completely red on top instead of the yellowy cheese colour) yummy!

And also is your's commonly served in triangle slices or in squares? Here it's triangles, 8 slices per large pizza. When I was in Wisconsin a few years ago it was all in small squares which I've never seen before.

PMS!

As in pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage. I usually get anchovies on the side because I'm the only one here who can stand them.

I can clear a room out in a hurry when I make an anchovie and limburger cheese sandwich with a slice of fresh red onion. Yum!

Late night afterward can be a little rough. My wife usually ends up out on the couch. LOL

Wow... you guys like your pizza so many different ways.

I like a round Sicilian pie thick crust, cheesy and not too well done. I am not big on toppings because IMO they tend to over power the taste of the pizza. I am partial to brick oven cooked pizza also. I work in the pizza capital of the world(NYC), and I make it a point to eat pizza all over in my travels for comparison. The Bronx pizza is best IMO. It is all in the water the dough is made out of.

John...anchovies ar VERY salty and are a acquired taste. Tiny fish(size of your finger) cured in salt with the bones still in them...Yes, you eat the bones also. Ill send you some if you like.

Thin crust to thick crust are all fine with me, but a hand tossed crust is probably my favorite. Like a good thick saucy pizza, toppings after that are just more flavor. Like pepperoni, ham(canadian bacon), black olives, sausage, fajita chicken, peppers and onions. Recently made some italian veni sausage and used it on some frozen freschetta pizzas, good stuff.

Meat and cheese, no veggies for me.

The nationwide chain places (Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns) are about the only ones around here I've noticed that cut in triangles. Most of the local joints cut in squares. I'm predominantly a thicker crust guy, but there are a few local places and regional chain places that are thin crust that I'll eat.

To be honest, I've not really had any style of pizza I wouldn't eat.

I worked at Pizza Hut for a few years back in the day, so I've had my fair share of pizza. I typically just like a lot of meat and no vegetables. Pepperoni and chicken is great, and everything is better if you add bacon. My favorite of all time though is chicken, jalepeno, and banana peppers all chopped up real fine, use Franks Red Hot as the sauce and only light cheese on a very thin crust. Cut into small pieces and dip in ranch to eat. Amazing! As for your other question, think crust I like cut into squares, anything else is the normal pie-shaped slice.
