redkneck
Been real cold here lately too, by Ms standards of course. Grass snake. Trampled hard. You can actually see hoof marks on him. Very weird to say the least!

wtnhunt
That is kind of weird John. Little guy maybe just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Back in November had a dead cottonmouth under one of my stands that was flattened a bit, but with no other signs of anything to cause it to die. Kinda figured it might have froze. As many snakes as there are around here, I am sure they have encounters from time to time. Know my cows have trampled them before, lost a calf not too long back I think got bit. Watched a turkey once pick up about a 3 ft long snake and shake it.
