Hunting opportunities near El Paso, TX?

I'm in the military and just moved to Fort Bliss with my wife and daughter. I'm looking for people to hunt and fish with, as well as places to hunt and fish. I'm into hunting deer, ducks, turkeys, hogs, doves, quail, but I'm also up to trying my hand at other game in the area. I don't really bow hunt. I mostly enjoy shotgun, muzzleloader, and rifle. Please let me know. I just got back from Afghanistan and I'm ready to get back out there and start hunting again. Thanks y'all.

Definitely look into and apply for an Oryx hunt in New Mexico! There are several hunts available. Not all of them are once in a lifetime. Only the White Sands Base hunts are once in a lifetime. If you are a resident of NM and a Vet they have special hunts for you. These are absolutely gorgeous animals and you will want every scrap of the meat!

There are some decent pronghorn antelope west of El Paso. There are also free range Auodad's in West Texas. You'll have to buy or get permission to hunt a private ranch for these. The Auodad hunt would be on my list FOR SURE!!!

The dove hunting and quail hunting is awesome where I hunted just across the border in New Mexico. You can probably find some great bird hunting near El Paso too.

There used to be some big desert mule deer near Las Cruces and Carlsbad. The desert has lots of coyotes to chase as well.

The rancher I knew that lived there no longer owns or lives on the ranch.

Thank you for your service.

I hunt Texas every year in the Hill Country (Kerrville to be exact). El Paso is a little far west from there. But having hunted in West Texas(Iraan ,TX) a few years ago I know the Mulies are big and the whitetail sport awesome racks.

Again...Thanks for your service.

Welcome to the campfire, pull up a stump and set a spell.  Don't know about the area around El Paso but I do hunt Abilene for dove and quail, as others have said I have heard the Oryx hunting is great and there is a good whitetail population out that way.  We do have some Aoudad and Axis moving west don't know any numbers but have heard of a few being taken west of Abilene.
