clrj3514
This isn't a smart move IMO. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013...-violence?lite I'm all for the 2nd Amendment & what the NRA stands for but this just isn't a wise choice in my eyes. Why would you release what's pretty much a shooting video game after blaming video games for violence? I know it's a target shooting game but the liberals are gonna have a field day with this. A PR catastrophe is the last thing we gun owners need. Thoughts?
VermontHunter
How is a target range a form of violence ??? Sheesh, has common sense really left society?
LETMGROW
How is a target range a form of violence ??? Sheesh, has common sense really left society? Common sense hasn't entirely left but it sure is getting scarce. Safe and fun use of a firearm is Violence? Someone had better get a grip! And for them it has worked because the NRA came to the rescue. We need to show responsible gun use and this game is a great way to get the word out there. What do you want? No gun games at all? Maybe you need to focus your energy on those who have created this climate of hate and violence instead. Are you a member of the NRA? I'd also be getting this app if it was available for Androids because I think it'd be a lot of fun & I enjoy shooting. My point is that the NRA's timing isn't good because regardless of how responsible most gun owners are the antis are going to ignore that. Their only use for guns is taking every bad story involving them & spinning it in a way to make it appear that guns are evil. Like I said, I think the game is awesome but the timing is bad. And as far as my energy goes, I'll focus it wherever I please.
pointing_dogs_rule
How is a target range a form of violence ??? Sheesh, has common sense really left society? Gotta agree on this one. Target shooting violence? How long are we suppose to wait before the game comes out? The LIBS will smash it at anytime and anywhere... it doesn't matter. good luck to all the dog
Adjam5
Sorry Chris...I don't agree that target shooting is violence. It is safe responsible use of firearms. Only the liberal media and anti gun democraps has made owning/using/shooting a gun a bad thing. No where at all did the NRA shoot itself in the foot. I applaud their actions and I am grateful that there are organizations like the NRA. Because without them...Your gun, my gun...our guns would have been history a long long time ago. You enjoy the benifit of the NRA's hard fight to keep guns in the hands of private citizens. Maybe if all gun owners were NRA members. King Obama and King to be Cuomo would be a bit afraid to move on gun owners.
LETMGROW
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks like this now. For quite awhile I have scoffed at some of the things the NRA has said. I have been a member for 54 years and proud of it. I get mailings and phone calls warning of things coming down the pipe. Up until now I have ignore alot of them thinking the NRA is just trying to pick up a few extra bucks. My whole out look has taken a drastic turn. Evey thing they have been warning us and alerting us to is coming at us full force.I have a renewed respect for the NRA. I renewed my membership which runs out in August of every year and made a substational donation to them recently. They need numbers and funds to continue to do a quality job for the gun owners of this country. I can't imagine where we would be today if they hadn't kept the pressure on the oppresive government all these years. THANK YOU NRA! Help us and yourselves. Join today or don't complain about what they do. Your membership is your license to complain. Lynn

It was meant to be an insinuation that the libs would misconstrue the actual basis of the game since it is a shooting game. I should have been more clear. Bear in mind though alot of us are a little touchy about what anybody says. Criticizing the NRA probably won't be taken lightly. Better yet, join up for a year and get a real insight to what they stand for and do. It's only $35 and might be the best investment you ever make to insure you of your right to own firearms of "your" choice. Lynn

COEngineer
LETMGROW, I feel the exact same way. I have been a member for ~15 yrs and I always thought the NRA was paranoid...and then NY passed the SAFE law.

I figured thats what you were thinking..but hey, libs are going to jump on anything the NRA does...again, the "LIBS" have gone off and really have done NOTHING that will halt the gun violence, they have in fact just made protecting ourselves tougher..but remember..they "FEEL" good about doing it...
