deer slayer
Hey guys I shot this buck at the beginning of DEC. I've been busy so I haven't had time to post a picture of him. He is only a 7pt and not huge by any means but he's my first "bigger" buck I've shot and I'm very pleased with him. As you can tell by the pic the yoties got to him before I did so the only bit I could save was his head I shot him just before dark at about 5 pm and we trailed him until 9pm when we lost the blood. I came back the next morning only to find him 60 yards from where we lost the blood. Anyways I'm having him done as a euro mount, I'll post pics when I'm finished! wtnhunt
Congratulations. Too bad about the yotes, sure doesn't take them long to get on a deer.
deer slayer
My biggest buck to date! Oh yeah them doggone things are really thick around here! I walk up on one every time I hike into the land where I hunt.
Turkeygirl
That's a huge 7 point, congrats! Don't see too many coyotes around here but in the summer/early fall always hear a pack howling. Do see quite a few foxes though.

dbHunterNY
congrats! sounds like you need to start shooting yotes when you hike in. it'll help keep more of your fawns a live until fall when they're strong enough to get away. MUDRUNNER
That's a heck of a nice buck! He should make a nice euro mount. Too bad the yotes got to him. I may try a little coyote hunting myself in the next few months.
