colorado bob Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 The newspaper said today that the Boulder DA has charged the 2 police officers who killed a bull elk. They are free on $20,000 boand. Charges---They alleging conspired to unlawfully kill a trophy elk. Felony counts including tampering with evidence & misdemeanor hunting charges. Investigators say the officers had texted each other about killing the bull several hours before it was shot. One text was about fixing the antlers for taxidermy. They claim the bull needed to be put down due to injuries----no injury was found on the carcass of the bull. Both are on unpaid leave. You can't go to work but you still get full pay. BS, but it is the norm here. I hope they don't just throw the book at them but they hit them with it. IDIOTS!
