Fullfan
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic gfour, I have the same gun, I am shooting #6 hevi shot through a Mad Max choke tube. Your pattern is kind of weak, I am getting better at 40 yds. You might want to think about changing choke tubes ?? Just my .02$

Guest DaHunter
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic Well i dont know if yours shoots a 3 1/2 inch shell but it does shoot it. I have the super mag and shoot excellent patterns out of a kicks GT .655 with winchester supreme #4 and 5s. Try out this choke if you can works wonders but then everyones guns shoots different. PAbowhunter4life
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic That is a very good pattern by all means, no disrespect, but where is there a hole in the neck you could put your fist through? I have stared for a little while now and don't see it. You jumped down this guys throat and all for making a comment on your pattern, and frankly, I don't see the hole either, no offense. Here's my pattern at 25 yards, clearly a hole lol......... http://www.realtree.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=4290&sort=2&cat=500&page=
Guest gfourhunter
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic the first target pic was a bad pic. you cant see it in this pic. but clearly you can see the poster bord. and by the way. this is a stock rem .665 choke tube with LED SHOT. this gun is a 3 inch gun only. first time hunting turkeys with a 3 inch gun. i always use a 3 1/2 inch gun. i liked this gun and pattern so i am giving it a try this year. your ok pabowhunter. just a bad pic. Guest gfourhunter
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic this is my pattern at 50 yards. shot high. problem fixed.
Guest DaHunter
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic Man theres nothing wrong with that pattern at all, i would go with a after market choke tube tho. But looking at that you probably dont need it! If you want one i would look in to the Kicks GT or comp-n-choke .655 Great pattern tho! Fullfan
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic gfour, I was not bashing your gun or its ability to shoot. I was just offering my $.02. I have spent a bunch of money of chokes, and have a box of every shell made. I have spent hours on the bench shooting. I was trying to help out by telling you what I use and how it shot. PAbowhunter4life
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic No disrespect intened from my post by the way, I know it sounded rude, but it is hard to see the holes until you showed that second picture. Nice pattern regardless!
maytom
Re: 1187 spst pattern pic Impessive 30 yard and 50 yard patterns!!! I really think that a custom choke might do better, but that's up to you to decide if you want to spend some extra money to find out. I really love that style of the Remington 11-87!!! I've seen that listed in their catalog, but never in any sporting good stores??? Just curious, where did you end up buying yours at?
